Los Angeles based singer-songwriter, RIVVRS, delivers an eclectic blend of alternative folk, pop, and soul. His music, which is characterized by its introspective lyricism, carries with it whispers of optimism that blends with his catchy, soul-uplifting music. His voice is described as a "tamed rasp that hovers between a soft whisper and a booming roar," which has led to comparisons to artists such as Ray LaMontagne, Amos Lee and Paul Simon. RIVVRS' songs have been featured prominently in television; most recently in trailers for the 2016 seasons of Bates Motel on A&E and Flaked, a Netflix Original Series. His song, "I Will Follow You," was featured and written into the script of About a Boy on NBC, leading to further placements on NBC, FOX, A&E, MTV, ABC Family, CBS, The CW, TBS and Netflix among others. The song has sold over 12k + singles to date! RIVVRS' debut full-length album 'Unfamiliar Skin' was released on March 25, 2016 and was featured on iTunes and Spotify adding "I Will Follow You" to two of their biggest playlists, "New Music Friday" & "Weekend Buzz." RIVVRS' has recently opened up for Ricki Lee Jones, Dustin Kensrue (of Thrice), Gary Lightbody (of Snow Patrol), Nathaniel Rateliff, Jewel, Matt Costa and Greg Holden.

Their very name represents a Civil War rank awarded to individuals who went above and beyond the call of duty without the expectation of extra monetary compensation.
