Signed to BBR Music Group's Wheelhouse Records as the duo Walker McGuire, Jordan and Johnny take an opposites-attract approach to their music, fusing electrifying "brotherly" harmonies with a fresh new take on modern country. After meeting onstage at a writers round just days after moving to Nashville, Jordan – the "super country" guy, raised in Texas with a love for classics like Keith Whitley and Dan Seals – and Johnny – the quintessential "rootsy" guy, a Kansas City native schooled by left-of-center icons like Tom Petty and John Prine – discovered a yin-and-yang musical connection that fit together like puzzle pieces – and the duo, Walker McGuire, was born.
TEMECULA ROAD
Called out by The Huffington Post as one of the top country artists to watch and named after the town they grew up in. Temecula Road (comprised of sisters Emma and Maddie Salute and longtime friend Dawson Anderson) are known for their trademark harmonies and their covers which have earned praise from Carrie Underwood, Brett Eldredge, Dan + Shay, Cam and RaeLynn. Their songs have over 4MM combined streams on Spotify which include their singles -- ”What If I Kissed You,” “Hoping” and “Everything Without You.” The trio were named one of Radio Disney’s NEXT BIG THING artists, following in the footsteps of fellow country artist Kelsea Ballerini and were nominated in the "The Freshest! - Radio Disney Country Best New Artist" category at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards, putting them in great company alongside Lauren Alaina, Maren Morris, Old Dominion and RaeLynn. On the touring side, Temecula Road have opened for Martina McBride, Josh Turner, Joe Nichols and Eli Young Band. This spring, the trio will open for Sara Evans and will perform at this year’s Stagecoach Music Festival on April 29th, taking the main stage alongside Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Brice, Kenny Rogers, Kane Brown and more.
